My computer's infected with coolpics.com virus that caused both IE and ym to function erratically. I've read that it isn't a virus but actually a "hijacker" and AVG antivirus and ad-aware(both of which I already used) alone won't fix it. Some suggest FREE downloads on Spybot or Ad-aware SE Personal anti-spyware, but being a dummy at computers I am having second thoughts using it. Some say just activating the System Restore will do the trick. Any other easier but effective way of handling this one? Thanks
