Anti-Virus, Spywareprotection for Mac?

Is there a good program out there for Mac for anti-virus and to protect spyware and all that stuff?

I'm looking for a free or inexpensive one that works well.

Free: ClamXAV, link below. Pay: Virex, Norton, Sophos, Intego. There have been a couple of viruses (worms, actually) for Mac over the last 15 years. Not a big problem. When I worked for Apple, we used Virex. I have never had a virus on any of the many Macs I have used for the past 15 years. I ran ClamXav once. It took 20 minutes and found nothing. Be sure to turn on your built-in Firewall (System Preferences %26gt; Sharing), use a router as an added hardware layer to make infiltrations less likely. Use Firefox with NoScript extension to keep web sites from adding stuff to your drive. And, of course, never open email attachments unless you know who created the file and you were expecting to get it.
